Mediazione

Ellen is an Accredited Lawyer Mediator approved by the Law Society of NSW and a Nationally Accredited Mediator (see national register of accredited mediators https://msb.org.au/mediators).  When you appoint Ellen to resolve a serious civil /workplace/family dispute, you can be assured that the dispute resolution expert you have entrusted with your serious issue is legally qualified and is subject to legally enforceable ethical standards through the Legal Profession Uniform Law.   Ellen makes your choice worthwhile when you decide on the person best qualified to guide your dispute through to resolution. 

Family Dispute Resolution

Ellen is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) registered with the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department (see listing on Family Dispute Resolution Register – www.fdrr.ag.gov.au). She is able to mediate all Family Law related disputes and issue section 60I certificates under the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth). Ellen is highly adept at achieving favourable negotiation outcomes for her clients during early negotiations and mediation. This enables Ellen to resolve her clients’ Family Law matters in the most timely and cost-effective way possible.

Arbitrato

Arbitro accreditato, Ellen ha le competenze e le capacità giuste per risolvere tutte le controversie in materia di diritto di famiglia. È in grado di prendere una decisione vincolante in merito alle seguenti questioni, ai sensi del Family Law Act 1975 (Cth):

• Procedimenti della Parte VIII e della Parte VIIIA (proprietà, mantenimento del coniuge e accordi di mantenimento;accordifinanziaristipulati prima, durante o dopo il matrimonio);
• Procedimenti della Parte VIIIAB(questioni finanziarie relative a relazioni di fatto);
• procedimenti della Parte VIIIB (accordi di superannuation);
• Procedimenti della Sezione 106A (esecuzione e conformità alle ordinanze del tribunale);
• Qualsiasi parte di tali procedimenti;
• Qualsiasi questione che emerga in tali procedimenti; o
• Una controversia su una questione in relazione alla quale potrebbe essere avviato un procedimento di questo tipo.

Conciliazione

Conciliation, is widely utilised in government and regulatory organisations such as Ombudsman offices, Fair Work Commission, Civil and Administrative Tribunals and Statutory Authorities. As an accredited Conciliator, Ellen is able to deliver outcomes that are both substantively and procedurally just. Ellen combines her legal and ADR expertise to assist businesses, government agencies and individuals resolve workplace disputes/ financial disputes/civil disputes with quick, just and cost effective as well as compliant outcomes that align with the parties’ rights, entitlements, and the wide interests of fairness.

We provide professional conciliation services to various organisations including government agencies, tribunals, businesses, and associations.  When your conciliation process is well-facilitated by our professionally trained Conciliator in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and procedurally fair manner, it can produce just, quick, cost-effective, and empowering outcomes for parties. Ellen may play an active role in guiding the parties toward a resolution by giving expert advice on the contents of the dispute or the outcome of its resolution; and offering suggestions and recommendations for terms of settlement.

Civil and Commercial Litigation 

A tenacious litigator, Ellen practises in all Courts and jurisdictions based in NSW which include but are not limited to the Local and District Courts, the Supreme Court of NSW, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Federal Court, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.  With considerable experience and exceptional negotiation skills, Ellen has successfully represented many of our clients to conclude their disputes with a desirable settlement.

Ellen is trained in Collaborative Law.  She appreciates the value of the collaborative practice in resolving Family Law, Wills and Estate disputes. Depending on her clients’ individual circumstances, Ellen may advise her clients to opt for the collaborative process as a Dispute Resolution mechanism. She works together with her clients and other interdisciplinary professionals with a singular focus of reaching a resolution rather than resorting to Court.
